uh, yeah - just you. I can't believe posts like this. me and my colleagues I n IRM are working our asses off even weekends in some cases and we've got people just twirling their thumbs at home? No wonder we have the remote backlash. Grow up and tell your boss you need work for goodness sake. you are part of the problem if you're not part of the solution. if the efficiency messaging hasn't gotten to you yet, look it up. we're cutting 10 BILLION A YEAR! Mostly personnel per JS. You need to make yourself more valuable or look for another job.

Yea start applying everywhere you can if you havent; i have several offers but working on more.
Already have 10's of thousands in pay increases at any but I need ft remote.
Send charile brown back to the office to work for 6 months and he can let us know if its virus free at the end of that time.
I’ve been very busy while working at home but it feels like they’re trying to hurry up and get a bunch of projects done before a deadline. And there’s nothing on my calendar after October. So yeah. I’m pretty sure I’m gone and I’ve started to look.
Congrats on the weight loss, i’ve been working heavier personally.
I experienced layoffs at another company. They were company wide, and large in number. Everything ground to a halt as the date approached, because all the work and spending needed to be rationalized and there were tons of long closed-door meetings with the higher-ups who were planning layoffs and subsequent reorgs. It's better to be busy for sure, but not being super busy doesn't necessarily mean your days are numbered.
My advice is... get started looking for a new job (if you haven't already) since it sounds like you have bandwidth. If you find out for sure your job is safe, you can make a decision about whether to keep going. If you are displaced, you'll hopefully already have traction in your job search.
@mrq, yes, working but lighter than when I was in the office.
Are you working? Everyone has been WFH. What are you worried about? They either think your role is important, needs to stay here or can be done by someone outside of the country.
