Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I know at least 3 people who reported ethics issues and subsequently and miraculously went from "exceeds" directly to a PIP. I know 2 people who have been on paid leave for over a year following their escalating issues over the head of a senior leader, while the "investigation is ongoing" Whistleblower Retaliation is REAL!

ER is a joke. The person I spoke to was stumbling all over her words because she knew what she was saying made zero sense yet the case was closed.

I am waiting to see if I get impacted then sue the lights out of them. I reported to the ethics line violations where we did not protect our elderly customers information knowingly and escalated to leadership- fast forward to weeks later and got the worst review rating of my career. ER is useless and this needs to be investigated. Elizabeth would love my phone call

ER is a joke. I would be curious about the data on the %of cases that are closed as “unsubstantiated” vs the cases that bank settles a lawsuit.

Good luck... I had a documented case of retaliation (boss retaliated IN WRITING via Skype chat AND email) and ER closed the investigation because the deemed my complaint was not substantiated.

I have experienced retaliation as well. They do retaliate at Wells, and the ER investigations are a joke. The head of my division actually directed the ER investigator and pushed him to close the investigation even though they didn’t even interview everyone. As soon as I am laid off (adverse action) I am hitting them with a EEOC investigation and lawsuit. All are already tee’d up. I have rick solid proof of retaliation and the lay-off is to try to get rid of me and cover it up. Meanwhile, my boss, the perpetrator, thinks he is getting off Scott free. Not so fast

Very unlikely, outside counsel will give them answers they don’t want to hear. Wells Fargo still retaliates.
