Unused Vacation Days Payout

I'm leaving next week, I have 15 days of accrued vacation this year, does anyone know when when / how long it takes for that to pay out after leaving?

Appreciate it

How many times are people going to ask this same question?

  • if you resign, paid out on your last day of employment.

By law, must be paid out at time of your separation (after 60 day notice, right before start of severance)

So if you're laid off before October 31, then you should get paid the entire amount of unused PTO? I.e., that's 60 days before year end?

yes it will be what ever you have accrued minus anything you have taken... and that will be sent in your last paycheck.... just went through it last week when I left.... now mind you what is said in the time tracker is not fully accrued .... you don't get it all its what ever your total is for the year divided by 12 and then that is your actual... so I had 168 hours accrued according to time tracker.. but in actuality because its not December 31st I only had 122 hours which were accrued when I quit...

You’ll get it on your final paycheck.

Should be included on your final paycheck.
