Tomorrow may be a lay-off day for many in Middle Market Banking. My team lead sent a 30-minute confidential outlook meeting request for tomorrow. I can see manager had several 30-minute private meetings scheduled all morning. It’s been no surprise that Middle Market is downsizing, there have been many discussions over the past year and the most recent announcement of realignment of customers to Regional Coverage was the most telling sign. I’m thankful for all the years I’ve had with Wells Fargo and I know I will land on my feet eventually. I’m grateful for the friends I’ve met and the experience I’ve gained. It’s business and the Company has to do what it has to do to survive and thrive. Wishing everyone in the same boat success in your next chapter.

So sorry OP! There is something better around the corner. Hopefully you have a good amount of years at the bank that your severance lasts a while!

OP providing an update. I was laid off today; 30 days working and 30 non working. Then severance kicks in. Details on severance is in the 2020 Employee Benefits Book, chapter 14. I just received word from another Relationship Manager on my team and he received his lay-off notice but his is a 60 day non-working.
Can you provide an update on the meeting?
I saw a post elsewhere that Middle Market may not have been impacted. Any news? I hope you are OK.
