Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Why is Wells Fargo Not Number 1 Bank in the Nation?

Think about it - coming out of the Great Recession we were positioned so good.

We "appeared" to be in good condition because of all the fake accounts.

And all the other scandals since.

Who is posting this nonsense, shareholders trying to pump the stock?

Wells is a garbage company, our tech is outdated, our datacenters fail, Scharf isn't here to make a great company, he's here to restore shareholder value.

If that makes the company great, awesome, but that's not a requirement.

I was pretty excited when I started at Wells years ago, now it's an embarassing place to be associated with.

Every single other bank was quietly shedding headcount, becoming more efficient and most importantly investing in technology. Wells, operating in some weird alternative universe like it knew better, increased headcount in the name of sales and put zero dollars towards technology. It is now a massively overstaffed archaic mess of an institution that has simply and rightfully been left behind.
