They also can consider to switch off the A/C at operations shelter as well.. since ops tech not supposed be there most of the time…

Switch off the A/C at Office as well change to fan, and remove all the additional monitor screen as it is additional electricity cost.

One head why need to have 2 or 3 monitor…

Implementing earth hour, since 12 to 1pm is lunch time, build a circuit breaker to switch off every damme thing e.g lights, fan, and all the computers… everyday can save additional money…

Sat and sun there will be no electricity power to office since no one supposed to be back… save additional cost!!!!

Didn’t they cut the contract staff for BTC, remove the day bus, cut NMPT salary and remove the canteen food subsidies?
This should be a good indication

Not sure SG reconfiguration started or not, one thing’s for sure India sales office job title needs reconfiguration. “ Full time interviewer”. So previously part time worker taking full time pay?

Another veteran gunner leaves CRISP… gone are the days. With these seasoned voices fading out, young engineers really need to ask themselves: is this still a place to grow?

@80ng heard this was a myth, then again being PIP-ed 3 times in 5 years is probably a signal for you to leave anyway

Post ID: @80np+16zEvLP3

If someone has been placed on a PIP three times within five years, does that typically result in termination?

by

Post ID: @80ng+16zEvLP3

Certainly! I've noticed many people leave and get promoted to senior management roles, where they gain significantly more power and higher salaries. Down here, it's comfortable but offers little growth for most, unless you're one of the select few identified as hi-po!

Can a PIP be cut short (e.g 3 months to 2 months)? I know that PIPs can be extended but my bosses threatened to cut short if they think im wasting their time

I dont read anything on HR portal that PIPs can be cut short

It’s like the 13-month pay that everyone pays. Actually just comparable to civil service “bonus”.

If you quit, quit on the 16th or after, and that particular month is counted in pro-ration. If you quit on the 14th or before, that month is not counted.

Must I wait till Jan for bonus payout to leave? or if I leave now, the fixed bonus is pro rated and added to my last month salary?

Before Shell was sold to Aster, series of cost saving measures were introduced. Those measures were akin to the current ones which the SGCX top management are implementing. Eventually, they were sold off.

Whatever SGCX management are doing, we will still be sold to the next prospective buyer. I believe current EM management will not be able to do anything to prevent HQ from disposing us.

Aster is doing well right now.

Yeah they will only cut ltsa for manufacturing, so far nothing on commercial except for selling petrol kiosk. Don't need to cut ltsa or AWS. Sell petrol kiosk is sprint to 1b already.

Cut sg site LTSA can hire hundred of engineers in Kl or India why not lol

Post ID: @7yt6+16zEvLP3

@7yr0 LTSA is NOT part of employment contract. Neither is AWS. They are both subjected to company’s performance and policy, which means they can be removed or reduced without legal implications.

However they need to be careful with this as it is effectively cutting salary, hence morale and attractiveness of its current work force will be impacted.

But why would they care? India HR look at SG and thinks of this as a fantastic cost savings opportunity. Do a few industry comparison to justify this move.

@7yr0 comm session already dare to mentioned LTSA potentially be reduced/removed. They wouldnt dare to bring it up if they do not have works underway.

They would have cover any potential legal implications by now, similar to the time they disguise PIP as a way to remove people without having to pay severance package.

I decoded EM’s little game early—a rigged system where supervisors pre-rank victims before their 90-second plea for fairness. Too many years in role? No promotion path? Enjoy your permanent cycle of sabotage without promotion. Just enough to deny raises while preserving the illusion of meritocracy. A brilliant cost-saving scam, really.

So I left. Now my ex-boss slithers into my DMs with performative concern? How are you now? Want to meet out for lunch? Pathetic. I didn’t spell it out for him, but the message was clear: Under your cowardly "leadership," I was collateral damage in your quest to kiss corporate a-s. Out here? I’ve doubled my growth in half the time. Turns out sunlight works better than Exxon’s curated darkness.

LTSA is stated in our employment contract. It cannot be cut just like that right?

Does anyone know what does NRE mean in SG context? 55 or 65?

d-mb management cutting all the lifeline just to get sold eventually, literally shortchanging themselves then to realize it when we are sold

Post ID: @7ypw+16zEvLP3

From the recent comm sessions, dun be too surprised that LTSA /3 month bonus being cut or removed. In the name of competitive, competitiveness in salaries will be reduced to let employees "go out willingly". No need to pay any severance packages.
