I think nmpts will only get PIP separation packages to remove extra headcount’s since no official retrenchment offered.

What I can say is that they have zero empathy for us and it’s all fake when they say they care.

Those that stayed a little after the call, what did the leaders accidentally say about us? Must be very interesting, so do share!

According to an SA that worked closely with SLS and above, the appraisal for this round clearly intented to place more % of MPTs into NI/PIP grp. The intent is clear, regardless of how achieveable the PIP goal is, the main goal is to force them out on their own. Goal seemingly seems achievable but ultimately pass or not is dependable on the SLS.

Some people even overheard a SLS telling another SLS that quite a pain in the a-s to write up a "achievable" plan but to force the person out in the end.

Ethics? Integrity? Everyone is only looking out for their own interest.

@7yr0 those people that plans all this deserve a special to rot in he-l.

All the talks about "family", "comrades", "team" and in the end they throw the people under the bus.

Cut by end-2027, which means there is still around 2 years to be fully exploited, with little chance of increment and all the toxic environment for you to deal with. Because you still have that little bit of hope you will not be affected

But then, they will still said bye-bye to you, and your management can claim credit because you had already help to ensure their job is safe, by doing everything for them, ensuring things can still work after 2027. They only have to follow whatever documentations or things you had suggested during this time (hoping by doing this, they will not sack you)

Got to give it to those people on top who thought of this, have to said this is a super brilliant plan!!

@86rh I know some colleagues using WFH hours to meet up, take care of children, take property agent and do their groceries. One champion even using clicker app for show she is online!

50% cut in MPT, why not? We can certainly do more with less!

Team,

We’re thrilled to unveil our brilliant workforce strategy leading up to 2027. Please take notes, as this is pure corporate gold:

  1. Advance Notice = Free Resignations
By announcing retrenchment years in advance, we cleverly motivate employees to quit on their own. Imagine: people voluntarily walking out without us spending a cent. Genius.
  1. The PIP Express
For those stubborn optimists who stick around? Easy ,slot them into a PIP. Suddenly, “performance” becomes the reason they leave. Goodbye severance, hello savings.
  1. Relocation as Attrition Tool
Moving from Harborfront to Pioneer is not a “logistical decision” it’s our most powerful resignation generator. Why fire people when the commute can do it for us? + The stench will deter the yoga gang.
  1. Contractual Enlightenment
Once the herd thins out, anyone surviving the retrenchment study can simply be converted into contract workers. Flexible! Agile! Also, conveniently disposable.

With this four-step plan, we save money, reduce headcount, and pretend it was all voluntary. Harvard Business Review, please, hold your applause.

Sincerely,
Your Totally Benevolent Leadership

looking at the comments, we likely see a stand off between hbf and non hbf people. Jurong gonna be exciting again.

Tips for the hbf folks, don't use your phone while walking, if you fall, remember to file impact and get your SLS to coach you how to walk. Remember to hold handrail, don't let the safety folks catch you not doing that, they will report to your SLS. Most importantly, don't bring KFC in.

Enjoy your stay guys

Once you are selected under the redundancy program, prepare to get PIP and ask you to F off on your own so that company will not need to give you severance package
