Even a 3rd world organisation will hesitate to perform such an unethical exercise. EM has the audacity to go ahead, thinking that it is immune by its sheer size and strength. This is outright bullying of honest hardworking Singaporean employees. Please prove them wrong by doing our part to report to MOM. We must stay united.

The company should lay off all the DH first, 2nd line supervisors also can do a fantastic job!
The company put supervisors , planners, Engineers , technicians in PIP to lay off without paying retrenchment benefits. Exxonmobil is fantastic!
All SLS should be removed, supervisors directly report to DH, the company firstly lay off the ground working personnels, damn disgusting!

We need to stand in solidarity against this organisation led by a few elite scums, infested with their self-serving eunuch managers and supervisors.
Putting forward your case to MOM/TAFEP is most effective way to expose these unethical acts, and thus put their eligibility to JSS and work pass privileges or even tax credits at risk. Despite the negative sentiments toward CECA, we ought to focus on being factual and non-discriminatory. Otherwise, EM Singapore would have easily dismissed you as another deserving NSI for being racist. Please take caution and present yourself in the best possible light in front of MOM/ TAFEP.

Morale is low in the company. And yet my foreigner supervisors are still making every morning mood among the technicians worse. Keep on threatening PIP and layoffs. Will this motivate or make morale even lower?

Shall call out @7kjs+16zEvLP3 and @7ryp+16zEvLP3 both statements could be true, as it could be 3 of 10 of his team were PIPed and that is why he/she (shall just call “shim“, collected term) assumes that we laid off 30%. But it’s wrong, only 8% across the company.. but! It depends on the rank group, some functions, rank the individual contributors with supervisors! Which is wrong.. some functions are more honest where supervisors are ranked with supervisors and the remove accordingly.. which is the right way to do it.

General branch does not benefit the employees. It is Setup for a puppet show only.
The issue then becomes that when the bottom layer leave, the layer above that become a non performing group and the whole list gets readjusted with many dropping a level.

Wow hope CECA is not impacting the XOM retrenchment exercise. There are lots of Indian nationals in Singapore EM organization wonder whats the % in the total pool .
I was told that I will be ranked against people in the same job group as me within my department who happened to have more experience than me in that particular field. And sh–ty part is i just joined that team. Ranking system is unfair system. What's the point of being ranked if you know you going to lose anyways. It's like running 100m sprint and your competitors start their race at the 70m mark

This is the result of the traitorous govt allowing exxon chemical to be setup but disallow a union to represent their employees.

Suntec Singapore & others publicly announced retrenchment but this company chose such UNDERHAND,UNSCRUPULOUS,IMMORAL , UNANNOUNCED way to RETRENCH its workforce.
