EM Singapore should look into the current work process and think about how did we end up like this. The so called leaders or analysts dated 4 to 5 years ago have to be questioned and held responsible.

The mindset is always to tank the position for 3 years and move, without understanding what will happen after. So to the future upcoming leaders on the management career path, this is what happens. You may end up not being able to satisfy your 1:1 KPI, because there won't be anyone left.

Also consider suing the company. Let this kind of despicable acts be well publicized in courts and in the papers. Let EM Singapore decide the kind of publicity it gets!

Someone from the mainstream media should run a story on how EM Singapore disguised a layoff with a performance asessment and branded hardworking, loyal employees as needing significant improvements! They should give this coverage instead of some trashy news on how some JB folks took a yacht to wave to their stranded families at Woodlands. Come on!

Who in HR is calling the shots here? Is it the HR in Singapore or is it in Houston or is it in Dallas?

The government should claw back the JSS given to EM, because I don’t see any Singaporeans being saved from such disgusting treatment (disguised layoff) by the company.

Suggestion is to take away SLS role, let the leads act as the group lead while still having the DH as the goto for career development. Very often I see that the SLS not experience enough to plan for our career development. They should go in my opinion.

XOM is dying everyday, expect the share price to plunge 10 to 20% after 3q earning is out. Do not expect the company will recover in next 2 to 3 years, it may go bankrupt if the world economy deteriorate further. DW is in a very difficult position to win share holder confidence, he is unlikely to be successful, and he will eventually be replaced.
