Who knows but the indirect business side is micromanaged to death

What’s going to happen with retail smb, bam’s , and indirect account manager’s?
Retail is declining but will not be eliminated. Your commission will not get any better and My Verizon will start taking your jobs.
R2B is a sinking ship and pointless unless it's under a B2B Manager. Most R2B Managers are useless on actual B2B knowledge and solutions, all they know are tablets, jetpacks, and cell phones.
BAM is steady, B2B will never go away. The work is hard but can be very rewarding.
Indirect AMs will not increase in employees, their business channel are pointless, they're like glorified R2B reps that know nothing about businesses except for cell phones, jetpacks, and tablets.
Yeah probably it's best to try to get into B2B.. every other positions are declining and hard to make a career out of it unless you want to wait another 5-10 years to hopefully get a Retail DM role..
Did reps really get clipped in west area? Nor cal? Did the team structure change for smb?
I think aligning R2B reps under a B2B manager with BAMs instead of separate R2B managers wouldve worked better. Most of these R2B managers (if they never been in B2B) are glorified GMs that know nothing about B2B sales. All it did was create separation among our groups.
Confirmed, some SMB reps got riffed today in the West Area for B2B. Waiting to hear on Indirect. They can’t possibly keep all those now that the car is out on what National Indirect we’re doing it not doing prior to the merge. BAMs are going to get affected too I think as they started talking about stack ranking .
Smb ppl are be reduced to telesales or offered Severance packages
Some got riffed today
Cush jobs, the lot of them. Cut'em all.
