Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Don't need Verizon network anymore

With the COVID lockdown and now working from home and not commuting, I've been used the Verizon wireless network maybe 20 minutes in the past month. All of our internet use has been through WiFi through our cable. Won't be needing 5G anymore either. We get the speeds on our home WiFi through cable. Why pay for a network that we no longer use? Canceled.

I’ve changed to start unlimited for my phone instead of the Get More since my usage has drastically decreased now that I’m working from home. My spouse has to work outside of the home and my parents are on my account and they still go to work out and about like a majority of people have to, so really only my line was wasting $ on the highest plan.

Since April, used verizon about 40 minutes, and half of that was to take a call driving home from grocery store on call that went over to cable wifi as soon as I pulled in driveway. People arent mobile in the new normal. Why would they need mobile network?
