Mary has failed at rebranding consumer banking. They have tried to create fundamental change with program rollouts 4-5 times and each attempt is more laughable than the last. But she has been getting promoted, has the title of CEO now.
fear? of course there was fear. people were being retaliated against and fired for reporting UNETHICAL and ILLEGAL behavior. And guess what WF did? Nothing. Guess what ER did? Nothing.

I worked with Carrie on occasion. Just go read the independent report (cites emails from here, etc). Terrible person
Mack will do what she's told, prepped and ready for the spectacle.
She wants to keep that cushy gig for as long as she can, don't expect bombshells. Wells Fargo's beat interest (and warranted) is to bash Tolstoy, so Mack will add salt and pepper to the convo.
And lower level employees are supposed to speak up, despite the cloud of intimidation? Yeah, right. If Mack isn't held accountable to be brave and speak up, then why should we???

5 years later, these five a-holes are still pointing fingers at each other. That is the entire problem that led to the largest sales practices scandal in history. No clear lines of responsibility or accountability. This place was a bunch of overpaid buffoons running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
