You think these guys know what they are doing ? How could front line and risk people coexist? If the front line sales folks say , ‘ let us get a few extra accounts opened’, do ya think a risk professionals can stop them ?

Time to bring back the Group Risk Officers, GORO, and GCROs to sort out Nate and this mess in the first line of defense

Dear “more like out of control”

As the immediate family member of a Parkinson’s patient... your comment is rude.

You could know someone with this disease and not know it because they may be asymptomatic at present. I don’t pray, but I hope you will find a way to contribute as much to society as MJF has.

They go to the LOB and then I am guessing some of them will vanish most will probably stay. They handle the financial crimes for the old wholesale business. some will be redundant by moving into the LOB others will be needed.

So the 4500 just vanish or they go to the LOBs and then vanish? What do these people do again?

Like 8300 down to 3800, with none of them being layoffs supposedly.

What was the headcount change?

moving more than half of your employees out of your org and into LOB's is one way to not have to talk about layoffs to you employees. He is basically saying you will change your reporting structure and it won't be my problem anymore

The Current/Target state headcount looks pretty scary.

I think this town hall is actually pretty informative so far although it is hard to watch Nate constantly grab at his neck.

The new slimmed down LOB Control teams and the reshuffling of the deck chairs between Risk / Control / LOB and how Nate is going to hire more people.

They do it do they can check a box on their MBOs. Team-building or communication or whatever. No actual information is ever disseminated in an all-team call. They’re strictly for show.

Even if they talk about a new structure it will be in generalities with lots of rah-rah wrapping.

They keep having these meetings - no real info is shared in any detail. I think there must be some top down push for these leaders to have meerings.
