MMB is having an “all-team” call (no longer called “all hands”). First 30 minutes is with Kyle followed by 30 minutes of Q&A with our respective DEs to discuss the future of MMB’s org structure. This ought to be fun. Guessing we’ll be part of the 8/25 layoffs. Anyone have insight into which job families?

@1pgy it’s Division exec. Also, does anyone know if it is actually with DE’s and not Region execs? Seems strange to break into that many small rooms.
@1kjq Have you heard when CSMs and RAs will be displaced? I know some have already been direct placed in Centralized effective this past Monday.
Not sure the meeting agenda. But all the CSMs and RAs are being centralized with treasury management. We’ve been told that centralization will create efficiencies and there will be fewer people needed. I’ve heard but not confirmed the BDO function will be eliminated mainly because the bank has limited interest in new relationships and its difficult to know how Covid has or will continue to impact companies. Lastly, companies under $20 million in revenue will be migrated to a centralized underwriting team for monitoring and new credit. I’m sure this will impact staffing levels but haven’t seen final numbers yet.
Unfortunately it’s going to get ugly before we get through this. I hope everyone has a plan B in case they are displaced.
They keep having these meetings - no real info is shared in any detail. I think there must be some top down push for these leaders to have meerings.
