Does anyone have any real dates as to when spans and layers changes and/or layoffs will happen? The company has done a great job (sarcasm) of putting it out there, but no real information. It would be nice to know already.

Folks, you are going to learn the hard way to take things with a grain of salt on this board. Few who really know what is going on is going to post here. Those who claim to be (and probably sometimes are) managers are making decisions on your livelihood and can’t even read a calendar. They are likely to survive a lay-off. Improve your skills, begin networking. Trust me on that and mostly trust and invest in yourselves and your skillset .

@mzj what do you mean 3 heads in India and 2 heads in Manila for each move? does it mean for each u.s. employee that's getting laid off you will get 3 replacements in India for them?

Aug 25th is right. My announcements are going out then. I get three heads in India for each move and two heads in Manila. Announcements go out aug 25 for first wave.
There is no September 31st.

October 25th is a Sunday.
Oct 25th, then rolling for three consecutive months. Have completed sheets that show who is going to India and Philippines and when . Spans collapse over those months for different orgs. Most of this was made to look like middle managers have some say. They did not. The higher ups had clearly made up their minds as to how many were being cut. In some case I have seen the vendettas of those they did not like being named as a cut. So on OCT 25th when these notices go out. Come back to this post and you will see that this is true. Some of my teams are starting to find this out and are looking.

I'm a leader in commercial bank with 6 directs, my leader has 5 and I was given a warn notice this week. Nothing official but told to have a back up plan. My guess is mid-sept it will become official.
