Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

So no layoffs today.. so much for the noise

No one got fired . A lot of gossip in this and other forums . Clearly no one knows !

For whatever it’s worth, I think it is a fluid situation. Maybe some people are throwing out fake dates to feel important or something, but there was a general consensus on July coming from various places. I had also heard from a trustworthy source in-house that they were looking at July. There were private emails going back and forth with a “codename“ subject line. The codename aspect is so clandestine...and hilarious!

My thoughts are that the pandemic, the working from home, the company politics and PR, and the inability of the firm to pull off any large project at all are all getting in the way.

yea i saw on here a firm July date , which has passed and nothing ever happpened. Remember just try to work on multiple streams of income, do the job at wells asked but no need to exceed just do best at those tasks you can.

Be sure to start increasing overall income (multiple sources of income) versus on a single income point like a job (poor people do this); this will help you save more and have income of different types coming in in case one just ends; like a job as they can be the highest risk as you have to depend on outside people for success and people change all the time so its not a good bet for the long term.
