Count on it.
Wells has been trying to offshore work in India for literally over a decade now. They try, it fails. Just like in 2005 when it started. Don't worry about it. I think they like the mind game it plays out in our heads but its been proven not to work. We outsource what we can.
the process is they slide in.
take responsibilities.
then more work go there first.
and when they comfortable, a "realignment" takes place.
this means elimination of the expensive line, which will be usa worker.
we are not alone in this.
the only fix is legislation.

It depends. Generally, the more stable and mature your processes, the greater the likelihood of outsourcing. I.e., if the process has been well defined, it's easier to replicate and transfer to other (cheaper) talent to execute and support.
