For the Risk department, will anyone who is currently a manager going to be turned into an individual contributor, or all managers with less than 7 direct reports getting laid off? M. Norton mentioned risk was following the corporate guidance at her All Hands Call, but failed to address any of these detailed questions, or to define what the Corporate guidance entailed. I thought her call was useless and she purposely avoided answering people’s questions. Very poor leadership. Thanks

What is taking so long? Spans and layer is a simple basic concept that should have been implemented long ago. There are many managers across the company with only a few direct reports. What I have observed over the years is that these individuals don’t have enough work to do and spend majority of their time trying to figure out how to climb the corporate ladder by stepping on their employees and peers. This swamp needs to be drained!
I’ve heard that teams will be outsourced but they did that before. They brought them back bc India can’t do the work. Huge risks. Outside counsel is ridiculous too. No saves. More spent. More risk.
I was on a call today and they thought the ax falls this Friday and then October and November. PVSI Control has a lot of fat that can be trimmed.
All questions will be answered September 16. Start saving if you haven’t already been!
It will all come down to organization restructuring. So instead of saying a specific person or team is laid off, they'll reorganize a division and as a result of that people will fall through the cracks to being laid off.
Why don’t they pull the plug already. Let the show begin
It's less about poor leadership and more about what's allowed to be said. You have to understand the upper management's perspective: they're not going to come out and say people on a particular team are going to be laid off. Surely she has (or someone) informed you all that layoffs are coming. The details of that are coming soon.
