Yet they continue to come down on us for things that are beyond our control.
Their ire should instead be properly focused upon a dysfunctional IT department.
I'm tired of being browbeaten by foremen for tablet deficiencies that are not at all within my control.

Who uses tablets anymore.. They gave us all Samsung note 9's cellphones over a year ago in New York.
@xly+16dpZXp5, my apologies, and thank you for the clarification. Prior to your response, I was under the mistaken impression it was a software issue, as the tablet itself seemed okay and managed to stand up to the outside environment well. I was just having issues with individual apps.
I did not know it was the actual tablet that was at fault.

No complaints in the flagging department, we don’t use that stuff, we think problems out ourselves. Hopefully I can hide in this department till it’s time to retire, 6 years is all I need...

You think that’s bad, on the network side things are things are worse. The pay no attention to the end user whatsoever. Their policy is to browbeat the lowest person. Also keep in mind that’s one of the many ways they run people off even after they provide decades of amazing service.
Your tech tablets are funded and supplied by your business leaders following their internal processes, not IT. They chose the garbage devices you are using and had them handed out. Take your technology complaints to them.
