I just got asked by my boss if I had any priveledged access. Can anyone tell me if this is a bad sign?

It's no big deal - with the job title changes, the are also reworking "privileged" access. Yes, your manager should know. But have been at WF long enough to know there are people who were able to get "access" without going through the normal channels, and theire managers quite possibly would not know that.
the fact that your boss has to ask you what access you have is SO wells fargo. i guess he or she doesn't bother to certify your access every quarter like they are instructed to lol! freakin' hilarious....
I am on this project and @cfq is 100% right. This is not layoff related.
There’s a big mandate right now to eliminate all Persistent Privileged Access, and replace it with Temporary Privileged Access. Yes your boss should be able to pull a report, but they are likely just double checking.
Could be possible for you to fill another role as they are right sizing the organization through spans and layers. Why don’t you ask your boss and see what his/her response is?

I don't think so. I can't see how that could be relevant to a possible decision to let you go.
Yes. your boss should be able to pull that report themselves!
