Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

So far none of the b---s--- here turns out to be true

Can someone here provide something useful? If not, can you stop making rumors and being a troll?
Thank you!

This is probably a trick to see how many people they scare off to just quit and will save them all the money on this.

@hjz+16bQoQAh, I have yet to see anything here or within the company that suggests 7:1 has been suspended. Perhaps that's a lack of diligence on my part, but I was not aware of that.

I will never understand people. If you were reading this board you’d have see. The 7:1 info months ago, that plan was in place before coronavirus and just got put on hold. Did you get that level of information from your manager? Why turn on the people trying to get information out there?

the process has started in Business Risk (under JB who is under Saul). And some folks who are still there are training folks in India on how to do what they do.

Actually a lot of the BS was true , the mid year ranking and bell curve was 100% true I just went through it and saw it with my own eyes.

Actually some people were notified mid july. Just because you weren’t personally informed doesnt mean it didnt happen. And there were posts on here about people being notified.

Just because you weren’t laid off or don’t know anyone who was, doesn’t mean no one was notified. The company has 270,000 people, do you know even 10% of them?

People have been notified and changes are being made. I have an official email this morning about spans and layers related changes. I was not directly affected, but other people were.

Yes. Tintin’s group gonna get the axe big time. Lots of dead weight getting cut beginning 8/1. Considering the org structure remains untouched for at least 3-4 years preceding his tenure, it shouldn’t come as a shock. I’m plugged in with a consultant with a company that rhymes with kercer, and lots of leveling and jobs will be shipped out of the Bay Area to ID, AZ and MN. Options to relo then packages to come.

The span of control changes are being implemented in my org on Friday. We have received several heads up communications that some people will have manager changes, other org changes are also being communicated at the same time.

The things I've seen here that I know are true is the mid-year rating distribution, e.g. 60% meets and the span of control minimum is 7. Other things are org announcements that folks can read themselves on the intranet. Everything else might be true but hasn't come to pass yet as far as I know.
