CTO under Head of IT "accepted a new opportunity outside the company." good riddance...

She was not a true "CTO".. She was a divisional CTO.. True corporate CTO's report to the CEO, not to the "head of IT".. Saul is in more of a CTO role but since they had her labled as CTO they had to call something else like "Head of IT" which is not a real corporate title in non-financial services.
I heard she is going to Amazon...
@1xn, what was the mistake that was made?
I think this is second person to leave this organization, seems like a bad sign
A effect example of low level posts.. “cto” isn’t a big deal. We’ve replaced higher roles recently; “cto” is a common title
She effed up
Did it occur to anyone that the CTO has access to a lot of sensitive systems, etc., and Wells Fargo might have asked her to leave on 7/31 so she didn't pose a risk?
That is common, particularly in tech roles.
May I know who is this person?
Maybe she didn't like her mid-year rating...(lol)
And the replacement ...(drum roll) has spent (insert guestimated number) with JPMorgan! For the record IDK that yet but it seems to be a prerequisite for upper management these days.
"And Saul is no prize to work for."
Why? Does he expect too much? Is he too direct? Does he not continually thank you for doing your job?
Per the employee handbook, notice is not required by either the employee or by Wells. You can resign and walk the same day just as they can fire you at any time...
"Your employment with a Wells Fargo company has no specified term or length; both you and Wells Fargo have the right to terminate your employment at any time, with or without advance notice and with or without cause."

She probably saw the $hit $how that WF is regarding its antiquated technology and half a$$ed patched networks and said Eff This, I’m out!
She probably didn’t get any traction from all the Tech Relationship Managers blocking and causing chaos.
And Saul is no prize to work for. So good for her.
So she lasted about a year under Saul
Red flags everywhere
Two weeks notice is not required. But I am sure it was given but not communicated she was leaving.
And her last day is July 31st... dont we all need to give two weeks notice? They are not amongst us...
