We've speculated on here that the mid years are tied to it, but does anyone know? How will they decide who stays and goes within a certain business line?

Below is true. It’s all about who is protecting you.
You need to form alliances for immunity.
Years of service plus salary and any grandfathered benefits that are an expense to the company are determining factors
It would seem obvious older, more expensive workers would be let go first (e.g., higher salaries, higher healthcare costs, more PTO paid out).
Perception of them being less trainable, more entrenched, too. Not that I agree with that (I'm one of them).

It depends on which level the decision is made, ie regional, division, or market leadership level. Given the reduction in layers, we dont know which layers are being removed.
It will be telling who ends up being let go, younger and cheaper labor or older and more expensive, less or long tenured.. the answer should help everyone decide whether the new WFC is a short term or long term employer...

Quite frankly nobody knows for sure. Probably not even Charlie. This will take time, but we can probably expect it to start in the next few months.
