At the same time that WF is sending out lay-off notices, they are sending out Covid care packages to other (who are then proudly posting photos of them on LinkedIn). So Twilight Zone-ish.

The Care packages is an HR initiative for branch employees and for employees who are required to go into an office. Not everyone gets one. Wells Fargo has been recognized for their actions in keeping their employees and customers safe. This has nothing to do with lay-offs.

@1eqn+16Vb8fBS I got a bonus but no merit. I was also told I was the only person on my team to get a 4.
"We Care"... Lol. They could just hand out the package to you on first day of work in office....saves shipping costs.
Covid 19 care package in lieu of annual bonus. I just can't contain my excitement
"The vaccine will be out in a month"
"if you didn’t get one yet should you assume you will be laid off."
Wells Fargo's best and brightest in action. No wonder everything is f—ed up around here.
Theyre being sent our to everyone who is or will be jn office before the end of the month. Its on the return to work site.
I received a notice that I have been identified as an essential employee who continues to go into the office. The care packages are first going to those employees, although I have yet to receive one. I’m super pumped to wear a WF branded face mask . . . They will eventually go to everyone. I doubt the group doing the care packages has any knowledge on who is on a lay-off list. They ran badge scan reports to create the list of who goes into the office to determine who to send packages to first.
Vaccine out in a month? Are you delusional?
I didn't get one. Guess company doesn't care about some of us.
Regardless, use the $$$ to save some employees from being laid off.
SMH.
so you can go back to the office soon
Why do we need a care package for covi 19? The vaccine will be out in a month, no need to waste money this far into the game when its about over
When did they receive them and if you didn’t get one yet should you assume you will be laid off.
