I find it amazing that our defacto or soon to be headquarters is NYC and all the appointed leaders sit out in that city that lost so many lives on 9 11, yet not one of these so called leaders could even acknowledge the anniversary today.
The leadership at wells is the m lowest of the low. The next time I see MN or Charlie crawl out of a sewer .... I'll be sure to vomit.
Wells has a Veterans Team Member network, of which I know several veterans who signed up post 9 11 so I do think this is relevant to note.

I said it, and as a NY'er who lost friends that day I don't need lectures on the meaning of 9/11. It's very personal and whatever a CEO says or doesn't say doesn't make it mean more or less to me. And comparing it to diversity/race is pretty stupid.
Whoever said grow the f—k up must not realize the impact of what happened on 9/11.
Our senior leadership has plenty to say about race relations and diversity. But it’s wrong that they are silent about 9/11.
Oh, grow the F up. You need some CEO to tell you what 9/11 means? There was a story on Teamworks and people could leave their own messages on it - I checked and about 200 people did that. So if this means so much to you go ahead and say so and don't wait for a Daddy figure tell you what it means.
There was an article on Teamworks with a huge picture of the spires of light in NYC. Our leader referenced it in his weekly Friday email and I saw various other places. But it’s been 19 years, and we lose a 9/11’s worth of people to COVID every few days. Time to move on.
There is an article on Teamworks today. Perhaps you feel it wasn't enough? I admit I didn't read it, so can't attest to the sincerity or depth of feeling. But it's misleading and unfair to say there was "not one message".

That guy saying that he is privileged and has never been discriminated against. He makes my blood boil. I am Caucasian as well and have been discriminated against for my gender and age. I am so happy for him that he can't even relate to discrimination.
