Bill Daley seems genuine but it went south about half way through when they talked ad-naseum about 'diversity, inclusion, social justice, etc'. meanwhile the whole leadership team is 100% white!!!

In a land that’s known as freedom how can such a thing be fair?
Did you all see the head of communications? She's even more clueless and less sincere. Her first call with the team was to share how we have to include more pretty pictures with our stories. No strategy. No vision. We have no clue what she's about other than one agency-account-executive-tactic after another. Zero leadership. Lots of busy work. Cannot believe this is the new corporate communications.

I understand your pov. I got into WF for the same reason. But I’m getting uncomfortable that there are no minorities in that layer of the powers-that-be. If you don’t follow through, I’ll quit and go to the press!!!

Horribly written, stilted/awkward, cold.
Nothing stellar or motivating about it.

Clearly a luddite not in touch with non-political currect events, no finger on the pulse of younger generations. Heck, he STILL can't get over remote work (constantly complains about not being oerson) – how backward IS this guy???

I'm all for social justice and the main reason I took this job at Wells is because, after extensive research, I learned Wells is really into diversity and inclusion. I've been here 3 years and I'm really pumped about how the company is pursuing this. I want to work with people from different walks of life, different ethnicities. People from underappreciated groups will be propped up! As I heard Daley speak, I felt electrified from the possibilities. Wells needs this, get diverse people with new ideas. At my last job, my cubicle was right next to a person who was non-binary and I realized I was seeing a bigger aspect of life. This can happen again. I felt so empowered from the town hall, I guess that's the best way to say it. A powerful feeling. Then, later, I went jogging and kept saying, “Wells, Wells, Wells!” like I was just so pumped up with energy.
The only difference between Billy and Jamie is in the way they deliver their BS. Jamie is the bubbly cheerful one and Bill is the serious “candid” father figurish one.
Both are acting. Both are fake if you watch carefully (well, for Jamie you don’t need to watch that carefully, ROTFL).
Yo, Bill schooled y'all! That my friends is why Bill Daley is bringing in the big bucks. Quite a performance – the ability to fake sincerity is a rare skill that only best politicians and Hollywood actors can pull off. Don't hate the playa- Bill Daley has game – unfortunately, it's that it's a pretty rigged game.
You mean the diversity and inclusion of how they screen applications from qualified candidates in non hub cities and reject them? The diversity of only promoting people in NYC and CLT? Shall I go on?
Biggest talent is to fake sincerity. I think Bill has it down pat.
I don’t look so much at what he says. I look more to what decisions he is making and how he is making them. And there is a discrepancy. Actions don’t lie

There’s such a contrast between the way Bill spoke (sincere and straightforward) and then Jamie M. on her last Marketing update (full of the usual sunny platitudes and corporate-speak).
He does indeed seem genuine and candid. At least there are two women on the team.
