I think they are going to want people to go back to some office as soon as possible to assist with the layoff process, for people who would have to relocate and likely resign in that situation a good number of them. Others maybe prefer wfh than office work. That would probably cut 15 - 20k right there with no layoff and no layoff costs.
As you notice now, they are getting people to learn each other's jobs preparing for this, if not this year then for sure Q1 they will make the announcement to go back to some office they choose in the 7 approved locations.
Hope they don't force us to take the untested vaccine to work here, may have worse health outcome than the virus. Everyone keep your health and mind strong.
I have a question for the bank branch employees. And apologies for putting my lack of knowledge of this part of our business on display. But during Covid, couldn’t Wells have made the decision to only conduct business through drive-up? Is there business that can’t be conducted through drive up, or is that lines would have been too long?
At least there's that...
It’s about the branches not the offices...
maybe they are turning the corner; sometimes you have to start with small wins, even thought this is a big one in the bigger scheme of things. Biggest world issue at this time.
Top marks while WFH. Office is empty.
Top marks for COVID but fails at everything else.
