I am anticipating an offer soon for a Band 6 role. What should I expect in terms of an increase in pay from Band 7? And, should I try to negotiate for more pay once I receive the offer? Thanks!

I’ve negotiated a pay increase before and have seen it done. I would go for it, worst thing they can say is no. Btw, congrats.
You'll also get a bump to your next LTI grant.
Depends on where your old salary falls within the payline of the new job. Could be up to 10% if your salary is low. You also get a bump to your STI. Usually there is no negotiating.
It depends on the GM. For instance a GM and dm are the same payband but the salaries are WAY different. Always negotiate. Even if your okay with the number they present ask for more. They can always say no, but they wont pull the offer if you ask for more.
