Did anyone else notice:
WF replaced the coinage of "Team Member" and now they are only "EMPLOYEE" in the handbook. Apparently alot easier to Layoff "Employees" vs. a fellow Team Member. Further devaluation of staff.

Hey everyone, U753861 here and these changes are so great!
A couple thoughts:
The Team Member vs Employee was always a bit flowery. But, the change IS sending a strong message to employees about Charlie’s management style, and it’s not a message that gives me a lot of hope for enjoying my future employment at this company.
Are they going to change the name of Teamworks? What to? Employeeworks? Workingstiffworks?
How about Youarejustanumberhereworks?
Fine with me. I am an employee. I’m here for pay and benefits, not the feels of being on a team. I’ll leave if I can find something more attractive. I think it’s best for all if we keep the relationship crystal-clear and businesslike, and not obfuscate things with verbal fluff.
@hej : The salary continuation pay schedule is still in the Jan 2020 employee benefits book on page 14-8. For now, it is still the same. Let's hope they don't cut that back again...
@hej+16MWAuU1 60 days?! You're dreaming buddy! WF has always been employment at will.
they have a building floor in India dedicated to learning and development. :)
Is anyone else worried that the new handbook dosen’t have the displacement years tables? I think this means Chainsaw Charlie is going to pay 60 days and no other severance when he cuts 25%!of us. This is now an Employment at Will company.
So we paid people to update the handbook from tm to employee. Because we dont have more important things to focus on.....
Wow. I use to be a team member, now I'm just an employee. Wells is now just an employer. That's all.
This is such old news (see it mentioned in several old threads). Please try to keep up. Charlie did away with "team member" almost immediately after he came on board.
He despises WF and isn't here to care about the employees.
Don’t call me Shirley

thats the EMPLOYEES they want to hire.
They dont have to pay:
Social security tax
Medicaid tax
Unemployment insurance tax
401k matching
profit sharing
risk of lawsuits
state taxes
and they dont have to pay:
high health care insurance(its so cheap there wells just pays it 100%)
Etc etc
Call me what you want just pay me tomorrow.
They have money to make those changes, but they don't have money to keep people employed.
Also noticed they crossed out jury duty as an occasion to not have to take pto. Don't know if it means u have to take pto because it doesn't specify.
