you need to find other things to do to make you stand out versus tickets;

also upskill yourself to where you want to go/be

keep working hard on yourself, do anything with your job as fast as possible, join groups within the company, try to develop solutions and implement that can offer benefit to company/group, join a diversity group too

Work slow down around 1st week of august in our site. We barely have problem ticket. We are sitting ducks.

Work from home has been extended until 11/1 due to many stupid people who don’t want to wear a mask or avoid spreading Covina.

@OP I have the same problem, but it's been slow ever since the pandemic started and activity slowed down. People are obviously fighting over/hoarding work. Our 2 up manager is now joining our staff calls but adds no value.

I expect us to be in one of the next rounds of layoffs, but I'm also not that worried. Our group has a stellar reputation with our customers, we're also right at the target spans and layers staffing levels.

You are probably just experiencing the same thing of people hoarding work to make themselves look useful.
