Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

New expectations survey

Said it was sent to about 30k of us- anyone else take it? I gave very candid feedback as they requested.. and threw in some of the buzz words of examples of how leadership is not living them currently..

I do not plan on taking it. Things go better for a while now they are getting worse since word of layoffs came out. The managers are looking at high level people as the ones to cut. They are thinking entry level people can do the same job. This is all part of Charlie's cost cutting. WF will remove high level people and replace with fresh college graduates. I have already been given a hint that higher management is looking at things as if "well.... if a person at a lower level can do the same job then they are questioning why you are here"..... even though I know more about the company and processes than the other person does. The writing is on the wall.

I don’t care if it’s not anonymous because I am being truthful and candid in what I said; I wouldn’t be embarrassed to be asked about any of it and my comments are still respectful. The only way we can get better is by sharing what’s wrong and should be fixed. I for one am still happy to be here and truly want to see a turnaround. So I will continue to respond honestly to surveys that I receive.

Those surveys are not anonymous. I took one when I was employed at another company. I was on the brink of being let go by then but I truthfully answered the survey letting them know about management.
Within two weeks, I was let go and I knew part of it was my candidacy and no, I don't regret it.

That is exactly what they are wanting to hear - that you are leaving. Now, they don't have to give you a package! Great job!

It's not anonymous, despite what they say. I never take those surveys.

Unless you're going to lie and blow rose-colored smoke up their asses, don't respond.

Anything remotely negative that you post just enlarges the target on your back.

I got it and let them know nothing is improving and I am on my way out of here.

I got one early in the COVID mess and was brutally honest with my frustrations. I didn’t, and still don't think the survey has any relationship to layoff planning.

I took it too. I put in my feedback about definitely thinking of leaving Wells Fargo. Usually I wouldn’t bother with being so candid or even responding but if they’re using this as a final determination of who to lay off, I decided I’m ok with that. And more importantly it was the truth. I used to love my job but now I got like 50 people from all parts of the org giving me tasks every day and The one thing I’ve learned is that none of them seem to have a plan. This is a job sure

I got it. I’m taking it later and will do the same.
