When I worked at BofA, the Indians would actually say that they were needed, because the Americans were not as smart as them. It was mind boggling.
Perception is everything.
During these rounds of layoffs, how are technology people not completely paranoid about EGS considering all the hiring and constant management messaging to train them and "make sure they feel like partners"? It's mind-boggling to me.
My team eliminated all onshore job reqs to be filled with EGS. The go forward directive is all new hires are EGS.
All the Americans out of work and wells goes offshore more than they already were. How unamerican. They shouldn't have been able to accept ANY tax payers fundS to bail them out. Shame on wells fargo.

To anyone who wants to see those posts, if you follow the wells fargo official account on linkedin, you will see the posts published by the indian new people liked by that official account. It's true that there are tons of new people in india joining WF and many of them post about how happy and how excited they are.
Why do you think the bank is pushing for agile so hard? They can hire a team to do the initial code, one to fix the defects in the first team's code once deployed, and another team to QA it all for less than the price of any one of those single unit teams in the USA.
can you provide link. I see 342 jobs, mostly engineering, posted by WF in India. Seems like a dangerous move an integrity point of view. Hope the two countries stay friendly.
