I am curious re: how long the zz.Names at the bottom of the WF Global Address Book remain. There are many Managed Resources and Branch employees with email addresses disabled. I'm wondering if these are from the last few days, or older.

There is a freeze on deleting zz’d accounts.
Don't read anything into that. Those zz email addresses could be there for months. A person's email could also be disabled but not show up in zz until well after they're gone.
Yeah it's already been announced they're reducing contractors.
Someone who left in March (on their own not laid off) name is still showing with zz just looked the other day.

I'm a contractor and haven't heard anything. Since we don't get severance and Wells can end our contracts at any time, without notice, not sure why they'd bother with us at the same time as layoffs. Why make things even more complicated and stressful? As long as a contractor is doing work deemed necessary, they'll probably keep him/her around while the dust settles and organizations get sorted out. Then... who knows? I have no insight but not expecting to get extended past year-end.
@gea+16CZSpB9 Thanks, that makes sense. Does anyone have any idea how many contractors were given notice in the last few days?
Not exactly sure, but they stick around for a long time. I notice them in meeting invites all the time, and it seems like they linger unless actively removed. If you are wondering if they are an indicator of layoffs over the past few days, the answer is generally no. Because displaced employees remain employed for 60 days, and many work out at least 30, their email addresses remain active for at least 30 days – at least for internal emails.
A couple weeks typically.
