All tech jobs going to India/Offshore. No new US-based tech jobs.
I would think if Wells is embracing D&I with such fervor and sincerity that they might consider offering local people of color tech jobs and opportunities. How can you help the underprivileged in the local communities by sending their jobs and opportunities to India.

My god, you are an id–t. 10,000's thousands is at least 10,000,000 (10,000 X 1000). The layoff will be 10's of thousands. Multiples of 10 X 1000 is at least 10,000.

Not gas lighting at all. The facts are:
1) They are laying of "10,000's of thousands"
2) They are looking to cut $10B
How are they going to do that?
Attrition, eliminating open positions, and layoffs.
Eliminating Open positions and offshoring them to India. That is a fact and a Saul directive.
Fact - they are pushing a D&I agenda.
I am suggesting that a great well to help a disadvantaged person is by giving them a job. WF wants it both ways... they want to help minorities and offshore jobs... Can't have both.

Sorry, this was about an announcement about hiring restrictions, or an inference based on a couple of open reqs on one tech team? If it was the latter, that's a pretty reckless claim. Gaslighting, really.
They're not mutually exclusive.
They're more focused on saving money by moving offshore. Thing is, does it take 3 off shore resources to do what 1 does onshore? Not to mention the hassle of time difference, language and cultural challenges (not a knock on diversity, but reality is sometimes differences in language, like heavy accent and culture cause challenges even between Indians that have been here a while and those that are still in India).
I didn't say that. I said, no new US-Based hiring. Those that will survive the layoffs will stay... My team had several open tech jobs and they were all sent to India.
