Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

So it looks like there was no 5 pm meeting of managers

Contrary to what some posters were saying no one appears to have been called into 5 pm meeting today to talk about tomorrow’s much expected mass firings . Someone on this forum has a lot of fertile imagination overflowing .

My team of managers had 9:30 am call today. We tell our staff in one hour. Brutal days, weeks, and months ahead for everyone.

To the left, to the left. Everything you own in a box to the left.

I’m kinda tempted to login and see if I have any new meeting invites, but I’m at the point where I don’t care anymore. Just bring it on already.

Meetings are tomorrow at 9, not at 5 tonight.

It's not going to be like Lehman where everyone is walking out the door with a box of their belongings in hand. WFC isn't going BK. This will happen in phases. Rolling layoffs if you will. It's going to be a thoughtful process that will take time. They're not going to march tens of thousands of employees out the door on the same day.

If it is massive layoffs, do not think manager can notify everyone at 9:00 am local time. Simply it is impossible.

"Everyone who is being let go for the August round will be told at 9AM tomorrow local time"
