Seems like the prior posters are getting what they want. CFO is announcing retirement with BNY CFO joining ranks in the fall. More Chase backgrounds, more of Charlie's angels joining to reform the bank. Let the show begin....

Where do you expect new leadership to come from? There are only a few banks that have the size of WF and only a handful of people have experience in volatile regulatory issues.
Turning over a new leaf... and hoping nothing more egregious crawls out from under it.
Thank God for change. Much more is needed.
The stock is up? That won’t last too long..... It was up when Charlie arrived, then the stock flopped or did you forget that he’s the reason why it’s down.
Really hope the new CFO enforces delayering. Senior leaders are treating the 7 DR requirement as just a technicality. Not right.
IMO he was a terrible leader anyway. Cut throat in his organization. Too many layers there too.
And stock is up 5.5% 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
CFO is a terrible job no matter what
After a horrendous Q2 he would have been on the chopping block anyways regardless of his ties to the past. So long CFO! Wondering who is next?
To be expected, all high level execs from previous regime at risk and regulators want them all gone. Change is an easy way of distancing WF from the 2016 scandal.
“Decided to retire”. Sure, Jan.
I’m surprised he stayed this long. A lot of times the CFO is one of the first to go as the boss wants their own money man by their side
