Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

How is WF still unethical?

How can so many of you claim that unethical acts are still occurring After everything that has happened. I get the sense that the term is being thrown around whenever something that impacts you happens. Can you provide examples of these unethical acts?

No one is going post personal examples or name, mods will delete it anyway. I have personally observed and even thwarted examples of bad behavior by so called senior people, I am not posting the specifics of them an Internet forum. Plenty of examples already exist in the press, read them and stop trolling.

OP, you must not work at WF or don't pay attention. How about mass firings of mortgage underwriters for a broken system that they called "gaming". Personally know many let go for unfair reasons not that long ago

I’ll save my examples for an attorney if I’m impacted after raising to ER

I’m all in for optimism and keeping your chin up and not dragging everybody down. Smile and the world will smile back, you get the picture. But “blind optimism” is more dangerous than being realistic. Not educating yourself, refusing to examine the evidence or face reality or think rationally might make your feel safe, but it is a form of self-deception and denial. And that doesn’t really do Wells Fargo any good either.

There are pros and cons to working at WFC right now. Sometimes it’s difficult to see the pros through the forest of cons. though.

OP- PLEASE EXAMINE THE EVIDENCE AND REPORT BACK.

Just 4 months ago, the House Financial Services Committee concluded that “the potential for widespread consumer harm still remains at Wells Fargo.” This is the same meeting where Betsy Duke and James Quigley (2 Board Members) stepped down rather than face lawmakers’ questions regarding their “obstinately complacent response” to the bank’s problems.

WFC board and senior management continues to fail to comply with consent orders issued by regulators.

We are being sued over reshuffling and mishandling of PPP loans this year.

This is just a small tidbit of what has happened recently. Don’t have time to educate those who have their head in the sand.

The feds wanted us to clean up our act.

We've been slow walking the fix for years.

Think of it like a felon not showing up for his appointments on time with his parole officer.

Also, OP is trolling.

My first response is to list everything out for you, but I don’t want to have to spend my time
spelling out what you should already know by simply staying up on the news about the firm you devote 40 hours/week of your life to.

It’s a very long list. I’m hoping you’re just trying to poke the bear and aren’t actually for real. Because if you are for real- you scare me.

How about this one... falsifying mortgage forbearance requests for people in bankruptcy and screwing up their bankruptcy agreements. NBC reported that last week!

Are you paying attention or just busy drinking Kool Aid?

Ranking employees inaccurately because their "leaders" told them to.
