Saul seemed uncomfortable discussing that, and grasped at straws to explain why people working from home were ~35% more effective in every metric they looked at.

He tried to attribute it to more people working in an "Agile" manner, but from his body language I don't think he believed that himself.

I attribute it to (1) no time wasted commuting; (2) no time wasted by people stopping by my cube and interrupting my work; and (3) the disappearance of the simmering anger and frustrations that would otherwise be brought on by (a) the manager on the end of the row who plays with drumsticks on his desk, (b) the chatty woman on the other side of the cube wall with the annoying nasal voice who also clips her fingernails every day, and (c) the g– guy 2 cubes over who is a little bit too loud in his private phone conversations that I really don't want to have to hear.

So we're 35% more efficient working from home? Ha! Try 80% more efficient.

You could sure tell it was painful for him to finally get off his high horse and say it out loud, was nice to see him squirm and come down the ladder a few rungs.
