Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Where are the buyers?

AT&T is selling its Warner Bros. gaming division for about $4 billion, sources say.
Take-Two Interactive, Electronic Arts and Activision Blizzard have all expressed interest in buying the unit, which owns titles including “Mortal Kombat” and “Harry Potter: Wizards Unite”
AT&T is looking at divesting assets to service its almost $200 billion in debt.

Hmmm....how about not getting loans to pay dividends. Maybe, just maybe, that will help pay down the debt.

Tremendous execution by our strategic executive team.

Oh the tearing apart started as soon as the merger closed. Hulu was sold off as well as other smaller time warner assets. Apparently they are considering selling crunchyroll. Love how our leadership overpays and then doesn't recognize the value in what they bought and sells them off piecemeal. Time warner had great assets. It's a shame att doesn't get it. HBO is already becoming unrecognizable with Richard Plepler gone. I'm a long time HBO viewer. Now when I log in , I'm greeted with sitcoms like friends and Big Bang theory? I find myself now watching Netflix more than I ever did before as I find hbo max just too confusing and time consuming to navigate.

No rush, there will be a fire sale soon. At that time it can be purchased for pennies on the dollar.
