If you think you are safe you are not! The only safe are the older do nothin employees that keep their nose clean and rely on the contract to keep their jobs! I have 11 years as a wire tech/D The bottom line is if you don’t have enough seniority you will be cut and if your a wire tech your done! They will go by seniority but can go by work group! Directv wire techs will be the first to go because stanky says he wants to get rid of us! And by the way directv had never cut or laid off an employee! Directv tech’s do and close more jobs than any att tech can on average, Any att tech no matter the work group! And we did it right so we did not create a SIN 30 and our job would be QC by quality management that checks all of our work! “T does not care about you so in turn you should not care about them”

Hey Mr. Whopper is that all you got to say? I've seen you post that here several times already. I think your record is a little tired, time to get a new one.

Probably not, but your union did obtain a severance package for you consisting of a $14.67 cash award and an expired Whooper meal coupon at BK.

THANK YOU for sticking up for the little guy, Can't. Win. Anything.

Depends on how many core techs get surpluses and bump down, that will be your biggest obstical imo

Probably. If they surplused all wiretechs with less than 2 years (no disrespect) T would hit their number easily my friend

Don’t let people here scare you. It really depends on your area. I am in an area with high turnover, so I have quickly moved up to 3-4 spaces from the top in just a little more than your time. If you are in a place where people actually hang around then yes, you may be laid off, but if you are in a high turnover city you have a better chance. Hang in there and try not to worry too much. Worrying won’t help you have a different outcome.

Truth is you're probably finished. I wish you the best. It s—s and it's unfair but don't waste time. Start trying to find a new company to land now.
