Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Any info on which groups will be hit hardest?

Jeffy indicated that some units would be slammed, while others would have only minor impact. Of course, he giggled and said something about spreading peanut butter, because we all know layoffs are such a superficial, pithy thing.

But is there anything beyond speculation that might give a hint about which groups will have the biggest cuts? There may be some clue in the recent top level reorgs – which VPs have retired and which remain - to indicate which lines are going to be hurt more.

ATO? BBV? Sales? other?

Per a Hopkins open mic last week, she did not think her org chain would be impacted this round. (Prob next one since we have re-orgs taking effect July 1). But who knows - perhaps she’s on the list and they didn’t keep her in the loop.

Well given that Chris rice from network cloud and infrastructure bailed, I'd say wireline planning planning and engineering and related operations.
FFS they need to to trim the the gsar that is TFS especially the so called managers for the wire centers
