"At Toyota, for example, the chairman draws $1.5 million and the CEO does not even make the $1.1 million required for public disclosure. That's tiny in comparison with the salaries of top U.S. executives. In 2009, the CEOs of Hewlett-Packard, Best Buy, and FedEx made $51.9 million, $49.3 million, and $44.5 million respectively.
It's about the structure of corporate ownership and the failure of the American model to provide adequate corporate governance."
no governance plain and simple. board approves what the ceo does for exchange of stock and dividends and all the ceo's are on each other's board. greed and legal corruption. if you think different, fairly, and don't talk in buzzwords you will never become ceo. meanwhile the politicians get legally bribed by the ceo's and boards and may even join the board after their political career or become a lobbyist for the corporation so they won't change because they have 25,000 dollar refrigerators. but its okay because they go to church on Sunday and confess all their sins and do it all over. this ain't capitalism folks it is fascism. this has got to change.
