Can the company really make me go back into the store without pay? I used all my PTO last month because of COVID and being forced to or go without pay unless I risk my life working in the store and now they say I have to either work or go on an UNPAID leave!!!!! Unbelievable and I will be calling the attorney general tomorrow.

COVID-19 has been proven it is no more dangerous than the seasonal flu. You weren't "risking your life."
In addition to the N95 masks that I suggested before, you can also buy two face shield from eBay for about $11.
You can use alcohol wipes or soap spray and paper towel to clean the face shields.
Please assemble the masks, face shields and gloves in a week and report back to work on June 15. You can use your vacation in the interim.
Surgical masks are only 60% effective for 0.3 micron particulate matter, so I can understand your hesitation in going to work with just surgical masks. Also masks with an ear loop do not provide an airtight seal.
Now that I have made it completely risk-free for you to go to the retail Store, will you be kind enough to most an updated status on this thread? Thanks.

Buy three 3M 8210 or 3M 8511 masks on eBay. Keep the masks in numbered plastic containers and alternate between the masks each day. This allows the virus on the outer surface of the mask to die while the mask is not being used. Do not use any products to clean the masks as this can impact the filtration characteristic of the mask.
These are N95 masks that provide 95% filtration of 0.3 micron particulate matter. The virus in droplet format is 0.5 micron in size.
Your problem is solved by just spending $40, and you do not need to call the Attorney General. Reporting to work will make you look good in the eyes of your manager.

Wear a mask and gloves. It ain't like you're a health care worker for the love of god. You could be more exposed working at a convenience store for minimum wage. you want a paycheck go to work.
Lol. Thousands of field techs have continued to install/maintain services for our customers never having the opportunity to hide inside our homes during this pandemic. Grocery store workers have continued to face potential sickness for much less pay throughout this. You really sound entitled and frankly ridiculous for posting this nonsense. You work you get paid it’s as simple as that.

My store never closed, and I was at work the entire time. No time off. Quit your whining and just go back.
I am 100% positive your store is much cleaner than our office.

I wish this hysteria from this stupid virus would stop. Children have a higher chance of getting hit by lighting than dying from the virus. Wash your hands and face regularly and wear a mask if you think it helps but washing and keeping clean is the best defense against a virus. People need to go look at the real numbers of people that died from the virus and they will find 40% of the deaths have been in nursing homes and another percentage has been deaths from other complications. Throw in also hospitals are claiming people died from covid even if they died from something other that covid and they may of tested positive but had no symptoms. But now our fearless best and brightest leaders are going to use another crisis to clamp down more on our freedoms just like they did with 911 all in the name of making us safe.

Are you Union Member? Talk to the Union if you are. If you aren’t, your options aren’t many. They aren’t “forcing” you, you have choices. They aren’t going to pay you unless you put in hours in the store or office. You can try to go out on disability for mental stress be that will need a Medical Note. Keep in mind if you play the stress card they will be watching for falsification so they can dismiss you on a Code of Conduct violation. You’re in a rock and a hard spot situation.
You risk your life getting on the road in a vehicle. You risk your life by going outside.
You risk your life by getting out of bed.
