Anyone else been told (during the last 90 days) that they can only hire local applicants for internal reqs?
If so, anyone know why?

There are hiring freezes going on while HR is waiting to find out which local employees are about to be unemployed so they can then try to fill open local positions with those local employees. Unfortunately there are very few jobs open or about to be open.
That all depends on the job. Some jobs require the team to be all located together. Some jobs are posted that way because management does not know how to lead from afar
yep - you have to move where the job is but it is all bs because people do jobs and are in cities where there is no att office. guess you some folks aren't att leaders lol.
I know why. Because they don't want to hire you.
