Anyone notice their first level being extremely quiet as we await the surplus list on June 15?

That's funny— Haven't seen or heard from mine since early February (and that was the first and ONLY time I have met him). Heck he hasn't even approved any time sheets since November 2019
At least our First Line lets us know when a layoff is being declared.
He calls out sick on that Friday.
He's been accurate three out of three times.
Yard pool has him calling out next Friday.
Five bucks buys you into the pool.
June 15 will be 14 day notice for management/contractor layoffs under McElfresh, not sure about other orgs.
First levels are in the same boat as techs. I have a first level that is actually a decent human. Hates the company as much as I do.
Is the layoff list June 15th company wide or just a specific district?
Talk? We haven't even seen ours since early March. He's been hiding in his Bunker (#bunkerbaby) and only sends out emails once every 10 days or so. Only thing he is good for is releasing our time - and a 10 dollar an hour clerk could do that if we need to save money.
They have no insight as to what is going to happen, they are not brought into any of that planning.
bue bye s—ers, lol
broadly used for the last 10 years, a psychological technique.
called, Silence of the Lambs
1st levels are being told there’s gonna be layoffs for them & Techs!!
1st lines are at the end of the chain and are never brought into the planning process. I’m a retired 4th line, and had to go thru way to many layoffs.... I’m not defending AT&T leadership and their 15+ years of failed decisions.
Lol put on your big boy pants. Level 2 isn't there to have you s—le at their teet.
What do you want to the first level to do? Tell you everything's gonna be okay?
