The outside world doesn't care about AT&T training.

Att paid for the nanodegrees I thought. Did they change that?
I checked into them but didn't pursue them. A person had to have some education and skills qualifications before beginning the program. It was suggested you would need to devote 10 hours a week. It didn't appear to be easy. A good continuing education path for someone with good technical skills already if they saw a topic that interested them. Even better if it's paid for.
Didn't appear to be useless unlike some of the badges.
Useless training. Much like anything that has come from AT&T in the last 20 years. If it was not for the collective and shared knowledge of the employees, this company would be in the dust bin of history.
Even internal Att teams did not consider the nano degree valuable. They were intended to retool employees not give them false hope to retain employment. Why would anyone outside the company find them valuable On top of it they had employees pay for the useless degrees much like trump university.
You should take all free training including nano degrees. Learn a new skill. Your path to 2020 should have a back up plan to find a new job somewhere else. No matter what job you get anywhere dont assume its forever. Every job you have is for now. Keep current and keep a plan b,c,d.
You 're supposed to use the nano degrees for your job search elsewhere.
all those nano, micro, certs didn't do a single thing. wonder how many jobs all the money spent on those useless degrees would of been saved if they didn't spend all the money on useless training.
