AT&T Corporate and AT&T Communications reorganization was announced by Jeff McElfresh today around11:00am. New organizations to be formed as part of this Reorg:
- Consumer Customer Advocacy and Service (AT&T Consumer under Thaddeus Arroyo)
- Business Customer Service and Operations (AT&T Business under Anne Chow)
- Network Engineering and Operations (AT&T NEO under Scott Mair)
- Technology Services (Jeremy Legg)
- Product & Platform (Split between consumer and business)
- Video
- Brand and Advertising (Fiona Carter)
This would reduce his span of control from 11 (today) to 7 once completed. He also mentioned consolidating teams, focusing on growth areas and simplifying product portfolios which will drive a workforce reduction in the coming weeks and months for executives, manages, bargained for employees and non-payroll workers.
