I priced out a few resume services. Way expensive! But cheaper than being unemployed. Trying to decide on a DYI approach or cough up the cash just in case. I'm kinda thinking cough up the cash now, as if I were to get notice, 14 days is not a lot of time to get a resume professionally prepared and circulated. I'm thinking 400 to 800 dollars to hedge my bet, maybe more. My stale resume doesn't get a lot of hits.

BTW, I happen to agree with the poster that mentions it didn’t matter that much on the current environment. My LI profile is always updated. I have seen inquires about my availability dry up over the last few months as well. And many that I know in the job market aren’t able to get an interview. Companies just are not hiring. Hopefully this starts turning around later this year.

It doesn't matter, now a week from now,a month, were headed into another recession possibly depression... updating your LinkedIn or indeed profile is irrelevant.
JUST for context I have been touching my linked in and indeed profiles weekly, it causes their algorithms to show me available, nor ally I would receive 2,3 emails weekly mostly from, recruiters, that all ended a month into the pandemic.. no one is hiring and tech companies are now trimming staff, so cleaning up your profiles are irrelevant.
Best bet is figure your finances and reduce all expenses to ride this downturn for the next 6 months to a year.
