HBO Max already is a failure. after the disastrous opening day, not being available on the dominant streaming devices, and apps and logins that simply don't work for many, HBO Max will never gain its momentum back.

What WILL be a failure within the next several years is HBO itself. After driving off top leadership and creative talent and applying nineteenth century telephone company micromanagement to a dynamic, creative organization, there won't be anything of value left to HBO.

Within 3 to 4 years, when HBO has been reduced to another burnt out non productive group of micromanaged AT&T employees, HBO be sold off for a fraction of what AT&T paid for it.

actually no one has yet given the real reason why HBO Max will probably fail. the name. what other product have the max name associated with it? the 737 max. we all know what happened to the 737 max right?

Compared to Dysney, HBO Max looks like a raging dumpster fire.
