Very likely Flexforce group in CTIO will be disbanded and surplused 100%. It is no coincidence that Felxforce AVP Monica Mitchell is having a workshop on June 9 for Resume writing, Linkedin and Interview skills.

Flexforce is a place for most of no good relatives of lower level Mgmt go. you won’t even get a interview call if you don’t have correct last names!!! Doesn’t matter what your major is !!!

FF is all about having a force of younger workers to fill in the holes of vacated positions after a surplus.

“Benching most of time”? Where? We keep being told there is more demand than we can fill in FF. There is no one on the bench.
Nonsense they started with pilots not long ago to have the employees brand themselves. FF is all about offering your skills and looking your best for internal recruiting and interviews.
FF has multiple locations, they might completely shutdown some locations, other locations might still have some developers but much trimmed down. The fact of matter is quite large number of FF workers don't have much real projects, just benching most of time.
I've got a lot of friends in FF. Some very sharp developers. We currently have two scrum teams we're working with on a project. 100% being surplused seems far fetched.
Seriously, is this just speculation because Monica is having a resume workshop? Or does someone here have some real information about flexforce layoffs??? I don’t believe FF is going away. At least I hope not, i’d Like to squeeze in a few more years before retirement. I guess we shall see soon enough.
I highly doubt you would see anything as drastic as indicated here. I expect we will see some downsizing but I would speculate it being in the 25 to 30 percent range for that organization.
I think most of young tech guys will be absorbed by client team. Others most of them are project managers , scrum masters, etc. will be gone.
Most likely they can’t remove flexforce because that’s where most new hires go after their period of on boarding otherwise the will hire people keep them for 2 years and have no where for them to go. But most nontechnical will prolly get laid off

That’s interesting as that is where most of the younger and less well paid employees are.
I am not surprised but truly sad as i have lots of friends in FF. The company direction a few years back was to be technical and be back in mainstream IT, which they eventually took a 180 and outsourced almost all of IT to preferred vendors. With the move, FF became obsolete and relatively expensive.
